The Spring Fling Family Food Truck Fest is Montevallo’s annual celebration of food, family, and community — a free afternoon event at Orr Park’s Pecan Grove that has become a reliable marker of spring each year.
The Festival
With 10+ food trucks gathered in the Pecan Grove, the Spring Fling offers one of the widest selections of food you’ll find at any Montevallo event. Beyond the food, the afternoon includes:
- Bounce houses — for younger kids
- Games and activities — family fun throughout the day
- Face painting — a perennial favorite
- Live music — performances throughout the afternoon
Admission is free.
Organizers
The festival is a partnership between Montevallo Main Street, Impact Montevallo, and DRUM the Program — a collaboration that reflects the community’s knack for bringing organizations together around shared events.
A Growing Tradition
The 4th annual Spring Fling was held in 2025, marking the event’s establishment as a genuine community staple. Each year has brought more participants and a stronger turnout, making it one of the most anticipated spring dates on the local calendar.
