Shoal Creek Park Foundation
Nonprofit overseeing the development and stewardship of Shoal Creek Park's 167 acres of trails, wildlife habitat, and historic grounds.
Established in late 2015, the Shoal Creek Park Foundation oversees the development and maintenance of Shoal Creek Park. The 167-acre park was donated in 2013 by Betty Mahler and includes historic Perry Hall (built 1834) and a portion of the former Jacob Perry Plantation. Activities include trail building, invasive species removal, native plant projects, bird walks, and archaeological investigations. Over 150 bird species have been documented.
